Dr. Allison Horan is a psychotherapist and psychopharmacologist in private practice in San Francisco, California.

She is dual Board-Certified in Adult and Forensic Psychiatry, and has been honored to receive numerous awards for her clinical care, teaching, and research. Her background, prior to pursuing medicine, was in anthropology, and she remains deeply moved by and interested in the nuances of  human experience.

Allison is a curious, warm, and engaged clinician. She sees adults (18+) in California for in-person and remote therapy, typically on a weekly basis. She has advanced knowledge in psychopharmacology and is comfortable working with individuals for whom prescribing medication (and/or de-prescribing medication) is a part of the therapeutic process.
